Experience You Can Trust – Driven to Serve

West Jordan has been my family’s home for 28 years. Our roots in the city have grown deep, and the relationships we’ve built have contributed greatly to our life, liberty and pursuit of happiness!

I have strong ties with West Jordan. I believe we have much more in common than the things that separate us, and that working together through differences builds a better, stronger city for all of us.  I believe when we are committed, we can accomplish virtually anything.

You have the opportunity to vote for three City Council members this year. Those who are elected will need to protect your rights and be responsible to every one of you while doing it.  I am committed to treating every person with honor and respect as my top concerns. I have put in the time and effort to study the issues that affect your lives. If you vote for me, I will work tirelessly on your behalf.

Read on to see why I am most qualified and ready to take on this job for you. I am ready to serve as your employee for the next 4 years – being accountable to you, the voter – for everything that I do. As you learn about me as a candidate, I welcome your comments, questions and input. In the end, I hope to earn your trust, support and your vote for City Council this year.

This year, West Jordan will elect 3 At-Large City Council Representatives. They will represent the entire city and and only the top 3 vote recipients will be in these positions. The few who vote in the election will have a major say in how they are represented for the next 4 years!

I am hoping to be one of those 3 who will receive the honor of your vote in this election.

As helpful as your donations are, I really need your vote! While dollars help get out the message of what I hope to do for you, even more important is for you to believe in me. And share that information with your friends, neighbors and family who also will be impacted by this election.

Ballots will be mailed out the week of October 14th and must be received by November 4th at 8 PM to be counted.

Rob’s Top Issues

OUTREACH – Transparency and accountability shouldn’t be a hassle - they should be easily accessible, understandable, and consistent.

PLANNING - Traffic, Housing, and Zoning need to be better coordinated and focused on their impact on neighborhoods and citizens!

CODE ENFORCEMENT - Balance personal and neighborhood property rights. Reevaluate code to avoid unnecessary, inconsistent or selective enforcement LOCAL JOBS – Foster business growth that creates local jobs and lowers the tax burden

Rob’s Commitments

  • Promote and establish responsible housing and growth for the city.
  • Be frugal with the public’s hard-earned tax dollars.
  • Be accountable to all the voters – not just those who supported me – but to all the people of West Jordan.
  • Listen to every person who has issues or questions but doesn’t think anyone will hear them. Everyone deserves to be heard and to participate in their government.
  • Only support issues that will contribute to our best possible future as a city. Not just what the wealthy or influential want.

Why I am running

One of the reasons we as citizens have lost confidence in our government is because we don’t trust those who get elected to have our best interests at heart. We believe that the decision makers are just listening to the rich and powerful and that the average person doesn’t even get considered. To change this, the people we elect need to be in it for the right reasons:

  • I am not running for office on a whim or to feel important. I have been attending City Council meetings for 2 years now and have put in the time and dedication to show that I will do what needs to be done to represent you – the voter.
  • I am not committed to outside interests or campaign donors. I have put in the majority of my own money into my campaign. I am prepared to demonstrate with my actions that I am ready and able to step forward and represent all the people of the city – not just those who contribute to my campaign.
  • I do not “need” this office. If you want to vote for me to be one of your 3 At-Large City Council Representatives, I will be honored to work for you for the next four years. If you feel someone is more qualified, I will join you in supporting them! But if you compare me to other candidates, I believe you will find me uniquely prepared to roll up my sleeves and make responsible decisions on your behalf – that, you can trust!
Please research my qualifications and give me your support!
